2nd Annual Youth Arts Summit Photos

Glenarden’s Second Annual Creative Youth Arts and Entertainment Conference on February 3, 2024, at the Glenarden Community Center, 8615 McClain Avenue, Glenarden, MD. The event is championed by Mayor Cashenna A. Cross, Grind Hard Dream Big, M-NCPPC, CIFC, Harlem Globetrotters, PaintWorld, Men in the Gap, FRESH, SAO dropped in to support and more fabulous community partners. We focused special attention on the youth challenges in the entertainment industry which included sports because we have to address the stigma of mental health and social disparity that has become the norm following COVID-19. This crisis has caused more young people and families to be added to the at-risk youth/families’ criteria. At the conference, our young people ages 10 to 28 was able to interact with the next generation of entertainers in a youth panel providing them with an opportunity to become game changers, grow in artistic talent, preserve the dreams of the dreamers, and much more!
